Heuer Autavia 1163V

Hello all,

This is the first time I am posting on the forums.
Thanks Jeff for this amazing website and all the wealth of information you have posted on the internet. It is an absolute blessing being able to have so much reference material when deciding to buy a vintage time piece.
I recently acquired a Heuer Autavia Viceroy. I always used to love the pictures of the watch but as soon as I received it I discovered that it gets some using on the wrist! First time I put it on I did not have that amazing feeling I was expecting to have! I was actually contemplating the thought of flipping it for something else. Its only now, a few weeks later that I have started warming up to it.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, my piece is the 1163V. The following engravings are visible between the lugs: On the bottom one; 1163 with a V underneath it. The serial is engraved on the upper one and its 277XXX.
The chronograph pushers are visible from both sides of the case so the case was made by Schmitz and it features the deep caseback. The acrylic crystal is present as well as the shinny tension ring. The case still retains the sunburst pattern and the crown is a Heuer signed one so everything seems correct.
The original owner had never opened the caseback and judging from the pictures I decided to take a chance and go for it.
After receiving the watch I decided to open the caseback in order to have a quick look at the movement. Again, using on the dash as reference I came to the conclusion that the watch features the 11-I movement. It features the different springs and the I underneath the balance wheel.
My watchmaking knowledge is close to non existent so I decided to leave it at that and did not remove the chronograph module in order to have a look at the barrel etc.
Anyway, this is when it started get confusing for me.
I always thought that Viceroys used the 12 movement instead of the 11-I. I did however, read that since it was produced until 1973 a few of them featured the 11-I calibre as well.
The serial number 277XXX is not featured on the Autavia reference table. However it is not clear to me if they were used in an ascending fashion according to chronological order. From the table I cannot say that it seems so.
I then had a look at the lugs in order to see if it featured the two stars or the arrows. I can see two small marks that look like arrows but the lugs are a bit scratched due to all the strap changes throughout the years. So I cannot be sure why they are even though those two tiny marks are a bit more prominent than the scratches. I will be attaching pictures of that as well. Is it definite that absolutely ALL the cases featuring the 11-I calibre had these markings?
Anyway, my question is if this could be one of the Pre-Viceroys with the exact same specification as the Viceroy ones which are mentioned on the reference table?
And now the pictures.
I am sorry they might be a bit unclear, I am struggling with an iPhone!

I have uploaded the pictures on the following link on Photobucket.

Thanks in advance.
