Jeff-
I commented on this watch earlier this week. I had spoken to the seller and they mentioned that they had replaced both the crown and the dial with NOS pieces but the hands were original to the watch. I have a feeling that the watch was originally a first execution but had the parts replaced during the service. That may explain the odd combo of hands and dial/crown as that was what I noticed as well.
: This one just sold on eBay, at $6,766 --
: http://www.ebay.com/itm/151902890306
: It is a (relatively rare) second execution dial (with wider markers
: than the first execution), but the hands look kind of strange. I
: believe that second execution hands should have the black
: inserts, as well as the lume inserts, right?
