here is
Rare 1888 Edourard Heuer proto model pocket stop watch. This has been researched at the National Association Watch & Clock Collectors museum Columbia, Pennsylvania. This auction includes copy of the patent as proof. This has serial number 41 on the inside as seen in the photo, and on the top plate under dial number 30776. This is not 30776 but the plate was used from stock for his new invention, and for the purpose of adding a hand to Mark off fractions of one-fifth second as seen in the photo’s below. The dial has a chip on edge at 7: position and can be easily repaired, and not really noticeable when bezel is closed. The Hands are gold and surrounding the dial with very intricate designs of gold and silver. There has been no research done on the case but it is a 20 yr warranty so it is probably 10k or 14k gold filled. The case is open face with glass cover under back cover, has some wear not bad still looking good. The movement is running and keeping proper time, and all functions working. This would make a super nice addition to any collection, I can say it is probably one of a kind as of this writing
