What Does This Auction Mean for Omega (and Heuer)?

My knowledge of the vintage Omegas is very limited, so I am not able to assess the results.

My questions are as follows:

  • What does this auction mean, for the world of vintage Omegas? Strong results; weak results; or about as expected?
  • What trend are we seeing on the vintage Speedmasters, over the last year or over the last five years?
  • What do these results mean for the broader vintage chronograph market?
  • What do these results mean for the world of vintage Heuer chronographs?

Looking forward to opinions from the experts!!

Jeff
