Paolo, thank you very much for the education. Most of the discrepancies you point out are pretty obvious once you know what to look for, but I have to confess that the typeface difference on the movement is really hard to spot, at least for me. It is almost a matter of "feel," or the depth of the print impression that is different. Usually the giveaways of a counterfeit are more obvious, like the peaked "A" in the word "waterproof" of a counterfeit Omega Seamaster 300 compared to the flat "A" in a genuine example. Another question. Is $6,400 a good price in this market for the barn find 3647 from eBay? It's so difficult to gauge in a market that is moving as fast as this one. Thanks
