Mareographe

Hello all ,
perhaps someone can help me, I have a question about Heuer 2446 Mareographe.

it comes with a Valjoux 721, it is a val 72 with tides complication. There is one execution which occurs in the 2444 Seafahrer and this differs from the one in a Mareographe. Has anyone seen ever this val 721 execution 2444 Seafahrer movement in a 2446 Mareographe ? Do I have to assume that it was changed into it?
Up to wich serial number the Seafahrer are known and when are the beginnings of the serials of Mareographe/Orvis /Abercombie&F ? Could it be even a transitional variation? Or just wrong ?

thanks for your thoughts

cheers mich
