In Response To: The strategy... ()

Thanks for sharing! One can call him strange, one can call him more than strange !! Anyway! :)

++ 8k for a perfect 73663 is normal todays market price, sometimes even more, and regarding the rareness and beauty, they will go higher and higher!
As long a Daytona with little superior Valjoux 72 cost between 40 - 250k Euro - depends on the dial ;) - every Autavia is much underrated!

: After many emails back and forth here the strategy (at the end of
: the game I told him that the last manual Autavia Siffert has
: gone for around 8k€ ):

: "it is a joke ????
: This watch has a real value of maximum 500,- Euro, it is not rare,
: not beauty, has no complications as triple calendar, moonphase,
: nothing, the technique is of the 1930th. Why he should get 8k
: for nothing ???

: Why you dont buy real rare and good Heuers. Why these primitive
: Autavias ?"

: I told him that I love primitive Autavias and offered 2k€ but no
: reply anymore...

: Probably his intention was to convince me to buy one of his triple
: calendar Heuer for 60k€?

: Anyway I'm sxared if we cannot trust anymore on Chrono24 too,
: probably they don't check if a seller is really reputable (but
: thry put the medal on them).

: Best.

: PS: on a thing I agree with him: why a person not insane should
: spend 8k€ for a manual Autavias with a Valjoux 7736? Only God
: knows...
