Hello Rene,
I just read your interesting new post about 1. gen. Autavias.
Please add my 3646 Autavia 1. gen Case, 2. gen. dial to your conclusions.
Serial is 52540, so even older than the one shown here by Fred.
2. generation dial really seems to be very rare. At least more 1. generation dials came to market during the last monthes.
But I´m just looking close to these after finding mine last march...
: As I was looking in the 1st exec over the last few weeks I briefly
: looked into these as well
: the highest serial number I found is 59793 , yours is actually the
: lowest serial I have seen
: First execution Case with second execution Dial
: 59149 – 59793
: As there are 644 serial numbers between the lowest and highest
: number I think its a safe bet to say that Heuer had 1000 pcs
: made of these ?
: Where my own investigation about the 1st exec's pointed to 500 each
: for the 1st exec's
: I hope this helps ?
: -Rene
