Hello Jeff,
thanks for sharing and good to see the old familiar faces again.
Of course, Gordon Murray was a brillant engineer. But as far as I know
the fan car was a construction by Chaparral, the 2J. It worked quite well,
until competitors complainted about gravel thrown on to the following cars.
Later it disappeared....
