Early Heuer silver pocket watch

I recently purchased an early Heuer silver pocket watch that I have been researching. It has an early trademark which was registered in 1888.

TAG Heuer have provided a copy of the trademark registration, but they have not, this far, been able to provide any further information. It appears that they do not have a watch which has the same trademark in their collection.

Stewart Morley from the Heuerville website suggested that someone from this forum might be able to help with my research.
