Got to Say -- Going from 90 Down to Four is Pretty Good

There are approximately 90 models / executions of the Autavia. Take away the ones that are not technically feasible to produce (the GMTs, for example), and we are still left with around 80 models.

Having had a role in the selection of these 16 that are in the Autavia Cup competition, I am happy to let TAG Heuer make the selection among the Final Four. Personally, I would be happy to buy just about any of the 16, assuming that the production / quality / finish are good (as I expect they will be).

: No doubt the prospect of having a reasonable accurate re-issue of a
: vintage Autavia is great, but I still can’t get my head around
: this idea of TAG selecting from the last four. I can only
: imagine there are some models that for technical/commercial
: reasons they themselves have already ruled out, and the
: structure of the knock out competition will mean that the final
: four will include at least one of their pre-selected models.
