Fantastic watch Shaun. These GMT's have been under appreciated for way too long but i feel their time has come to shine.
I'm certain you're are grinning now with it on your wrist but over the coming years the price will seem like a bargain as so few of these remain in top condition.
Enjoy it !!!
Cheers - Darren
: This just arrived; from the - sadly not under the radar - auction
: in Carmel, Indiana. It was discussed in earlier posts.
: It was a bit too expensive, and the weakening pound sterling didn't
: help, but besides that I am just so happy with the watch. It is
: just spectacular in the metal.
: Incredible condition, one owner watch (before me). Yes the dial and
: H/M hands are earlier than the case execution, but I am 100%
: convinced that either it came like this out of the Heuer factory
: or the case was switched at service at the Heuer; we'll never
: know. But all that is irrelevant as it is just fantastic on the
: wrist, though I am very conscious of where my wrist is as REALLY
: don't want to ding that perfect bezel.
: Shame this model is not being considered by Heuer for reissue, but
: I understand it is a GMT complication problem with the movements
: they want to use.
