Perspective on Reverse Panda vs Panda & history

Firstly, nice job with your involvement on this initiative Jeff. I think that its got a lot of people excited, and I think there is a large community for which an original Autavia is out of reach and this re-issue will open doors to that population, the existing collector community and new enthusiasts as well. In my opinion, I think that Tag should have stayed true to the original production Autavia's with the traditional reverse panda designs for the re-issue. It would have been in keeping with the broader history of the Autavia. The panda dial(s) could have been released as a "limited edition" or "collectors edition" in small numbers to maintain the level of uniqueness to those designs, again keeping with the special history behind them. When you think about an early Autavia, you think reverse panda dial. I wonder if there are others who feel this way as well? What's your perspective? I agree Panda's are popular right now, but this is a re-issue of a beloved watch after all!

It will be very interesting to see how this continues. Hopefully it won't end-up in a "Contested Convention" ;) Thanks again for the excellent efforts and updates. I am enjoying following the election coverage!

All my Best - Jeff
