Hodinkee Report on the Autavia Cup

Hodinkee has published a report on voting in the first round of the Autavia Cup -- The Autavia Cup: Round One Results, Early Conclusions, And A Quick Look At Round Two.

It's hard to disagree with the three conclusions suggested in the Hodinkee posting:

  1. People Like A Panda
  2. The Valjoux 72, A Shoo-In
  3. The Later, The Better.
Yes, the Pandas are beating the Autavias with the black dials; the three-register Autavias are beating the ones with two registers; and our beloved Big Subs are losing out to the ones with standard-sized registers.

Still, I would be happy to wear / buy any of the eight that have made it through to Round Two!!

Over 3,200 votes cast in Round Two . . . three days remaining . . . spread the word to vote here -- http://autaviacup.com/
