The best thing about this first re-issue of a 1960s Autavia is that it will exist. Let it be successful, then we can hope that TAG Heuer will become a little more adventurous with the second, third and fourth Autavias that it re-issues. I will be thrilled to walk into a store and see this "Rindt" Autavia . . . and perhaps in 2018 through 2020, we will see Panda versions, Big Subs, GMTs and the full line-up that we love so much.
This is a baby step . . . a start . . . let it be successful, then we will hope for bolder, different, creative Autavias!!
. . . just my two cents!!

: I'm sorry if this offends.. but I'm not not too happy.
: Recreating a model that already exists is, well in my mind not
: good.
: Sure the Rindt is a fantastic model, I've had 2 myself, but do we
: really want a recreation.
: My winner would have been the white dialled version.. this would be
: both unique and an extension of the Autaiva line.
: Happy, but also a slightly disappointed..
