I understand your point Steward but with a white dial, what would we have? A Panda dial with a certain whiff of Rolex Daytona.
So hard to look at the futur though I also prefer a reinterpretation of the concept like with the Monza than a recreation.
A well made case are the Speedmasters by Omega.
A recreation could be justified when it's an ‎uninterpretable big icon with a low production or small existence.
Conclusion, hard to convince vintage watch collectors emulating the past isn't it? ;))
A lovely day lovely watchfam,
Sandra
: I'm sorry if this offends.. but I'm not not too happy.
: Recreating a model that already exists is, well in my mind not
: good.
: Sure the Rindt is a fantastic model, I've had 2 myself, but do we
: really want a recreation.
: My winner would have been the white dialled version.. this would be
: both unique and an extension of the Autaiva line.
: Happy, but also a slightly disappointed..
