Here are two Heuers that sold yesterday, April 20, 2016, at the Antiquorum auction in New York City.
There were six Heuer timepieces in the auction, but these two were the top of the food chain for the Heuers.
-- the Carrera sold for $21,875 (including buyers premium; $17,500 hammer price)
-- the Autavia sold for $41,250 (including buyers premium; $33,000 hammer price)
You can see the full catalog and results -- HERE.
You can see the six Heuers included in the auction -- HERE.
Later today, I will post some comments on the auction, which included a total of six Heuer timepieces, but these two chronographs probably represent the "Breaking News" for the morning, in the vintage Heuer world.
