: Yes, this movement looks 100% correct for the modified Valjoux
: 72 that is used in the Reference 2443 Seafarer (second
: execution).
: Some of these movements have serial numbers and some do not; when
: we see the serial number, 452xxx and 453xxx seem to be the usual
: numbers.
: It would be interesting to have the serial number, marked on the
: edge of the case, where the strap connects (which should be the
: same serial number as marked inside the case-back).

Jeff, this intrigues me. I have no number inside the case-back to correspond to the number marked between the lugs. Why would that be?
