Josef Newgarden is the hot young American driver in IndyCar. He is 26 years old and has been a full time IndyCar driver since 2011. He has made bad equipment look good and is now in a pretty decent car. He is a wonder boy on both road and street courses and high speed ovals. He missed the pole at the 100th running of the Indy 500 by a couple thousandths of a second. His is a great looking kid on top of all that and as a member of "the media" I can tell you that he is the best kind of driver to work with...he is smart, focused, articulate and generous with his time. This kid has it all. We are proud to have him in IndyCar.
