I have inherited my father's Autavia GMT 11630 and based on the reference guide it looks to be a 1974 issue.
The problem is I have an invoice from June of 1975 for approx. $165.00. The OTD guide does not list a 1975 model
and the price guides I've seen suggest a list price of approx. $245.00 for a new 1974 watch. Here are the questions...
Did Heuer make a 11630 in 1975 or did they stock pile the 1974 models and sell them off? Is $165.00 a reasonable
sale price for a GMT 11630? Does anyone have a similar experience or knowledge of Heuer's practices at this time?
