I saw this gem on eBay. Quite the princely sum for a largely unoriginal "Monnin".

Where to start on this one.....
From what I can tell it has the following issues:
Bezel is not original (looks very similar to a Chronosport Atlantis bezel).
Dial appears to be a reprint
Movement doesn't look original
Standard rolex style 2824 hands
Rolex sub bezel insert
Fake buckle (though he dodged that issue.somewhat by denying knowing if it was original).
Did I leave anything out?
