Here is the list of results, from the July 2, 2016, Watches of Knightsbridge Auction -- http://watchesofknightsbridge.com/catalogues/AuctionResultsJUL16.pdf

This lists indicates that of the 582 lots that were offered for sale, 282 lots were sold . . . 48.45 percent . . . not a passing grade, in my books.

: ($47,782). Add the 21 percent buyer's premium, and we end up at
: $57,800.

: Some observers had expected higher prices. I have to wonder how
: this one would have done had it not been (a) the middle of the
: Summer, (b) Watches of Knightsbridge, rather than a house like
: Christie's, and (c) a few days after the Brexit vote.
