This sold on a local auction last night, I was the buyer but on close inspection of the watch it looks all kinds of wrong.
Was this ever sold with the word "sixty nine" above the word Monaco? The dial print looks poor too. The glass looks to be mineral glass as opposed to plexi.
I have called the auction house this morning and they said it was sent in by a watch specialist who guarantees it to be original but I am positive it isn't.
You opinions would be greatly appreciated.
