Unfortunately, the one you purchased looks like a very poor attempt to knock off the white-dialed Monaco that was part of the "Gulf" series.
The easiest telltale -- "Yours" has a register at the left with the number 1 through 7 . . . compare to the authentic one, that has a minute recorder to the left (with numbers 1 through 30) and running seconds to the right (with numbers 1 through 60).
Good luck in returning this one and getting our money back, because it's not a genuine TAG Heuer Monaco.

This sold on a local auction last night, I was the buyer but on close inspection of the watch it looks all kinds of wrong. Was this ever sold with the word "sixty nine" above the word Monaco? The dial print looks poor too. The glass looks to e mineral glass as opposed to plexi. I have called the auction house this morning and they said it was sent in by a watch specialist who guarantees it to be original but I am positive it isn't. You opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Michael
