Hi Phranz-no I'm afraid not.
If it is as you describe-plain white and has no outer tachymeter ring, it is an earlier execution and so the chrono sweep hand should be black, as well as the small chrono hands. It doesn't mean the watch is bad necessarily, it is possible just the hand has been replaced over time, during a service perhaps.
