Start with 40 vintage Heuers, remove three of the blatant fakes, and then sell 11 of the remaining 37 watches, with 26 being unsold.
Yes, the market for vintage Heuers has been amazing, but when you take a group of watches that would be rated from awful to mediocre (at best), add some technical difficulties with the sale itself, impose low limits on first time bidders, you get a complete disaster. Even the results for some of the decent ones (Mareographe and Autavia GMT) seem to have been dragged down by their companions.
They says that a rising tide lifts all ships, but we see that even the recent rising tide of vintage Heuers could not lift this garbage.
