: Hi folks,

: I would like to share my joy here, like a kid holding his first
: transformer toy, grinning uncontrollably, and checking on the
: new toy every now and then.

: This particular piece is a dream for me, as this is at first a
: mission impossible; the seller, an old guy, is from Germany and
: as you probably would have guessed, would not want to ship it
: out nor accept bank wire. Would only want to do it the
: traditional way by accepting cold hard cash via meet up. A
: fellow watch enthusiast, (would also be right to call him an
: expert) assisted me in the entire transaction, from meeting him
: to assisting me with the payment. Thank you! You know who you
: are! The history that I gathered from my friend is short, seller
: is an old guy, whom is the second owner, bought the watch
: originally from a pilot. Watch has been serviced and during this
: service, only the very worn out crown is replaced, and the crown
: is also included with a handwritten note. I have cleaned the
: entire watch, as it was in a "barn" state when I first
: gotten it.

: Long story short, I would like to share with you what I thought was
: some of the LAST first execution 2446 Autavia with a signed
: Heuer-Leonidas val. 72 movement. Apparently, this raised a few
: brows but I did check this out with some of the resident experts
: here (and a few Heuer enthusiasts from other forums) whom
: assured me that this is uncommon, but correct, probably due to
: the transitional and short period this watch was produced. Watch
: serial number is 53227, which made this one of the last first
: execution ever made. Here's some shots taken under natural
: light.
