In the Heuer timeline / history, it states that in 1950, Heuer introduced the Mareograph, the first chronograph with tide indicator, and that this model was called the "Seafarer" in the United States.

Still, I have never seen any evidence of this early Heuer Mareograph. Let me make some further inquiries, and see whether I can learn more.
