STOLEN HEUER AUTAVIA GMT
On 5/9/16 I had my house in North Yorkshire burgled and my beloved Heuer Autavia GMT, passed down from my grandfather, stolen.
I attach photos of the watch. It's in great condition but has a distinctive but small scratch on the bezel at the "22" mark. I also believe it is distinctive amount watches of this kind due to the brightness of the Pepsi dial.
I can't describe how upset I am at the theft of this watch, not just because of how nice a piece it is but mainly due to the story behind the watch and the memory of my grandfather.
If the Heuer collecting community could keep an eye out for it, it would be greatly appreciated.
A description of the watch:
Stainless steel case - approx 40 x 47mm (reference and serial numbers not present, due to a refurb polish) with Blue/Red 24 hour bezel and signed Heuer crown. Black dialwith white sub dials, red hands and yellow second time zone hand. Automatic Calibre 14 movement signed Heuer. Fitted with stainless steel linked bracelet and Heuer fliplock clasp.
