Congratulations on the first Heuer. You will need a new e-mail address, with "Heuer" as the first five characters.
I have been told that you need a "special tool" to remove this back. Case is waterproof; definitely "heavy construction"; I doubt that the average pocket knife will get the job done. I will check with an expert and report back to you, on this Forum.
Thanks for the message and we are glad to have you among the "Heuer guys".

Welcome, Chris:
: It's a Autavia GMT. Does anybody know how to
: pop off the back? Want to check out the
: movement. I know it's a snap on back but it
: looks like very heavy construction. Not sure
: if I can do it myself so before I end up
: scratching up the case back I thought I'd
: ask first. I'll post pics later tonight.
: Thanks!
: Regards,
: Chris
: P.S. Thanks Chuck! I missed the one on the bay.
: Went out for dinner and forgot to place a
: bid :-(
