What do we think of these two watches. The blue one is still for sale on Ebay after 2 years. The black one is by the same seller maybe a year ago.
Are they Heuer + Lecoultre combinations?
Just a casual question as I am not an expert with either brand it's just that I am sure this JLC model had several different bezels (like the black one below)but I doubt that a non ratcheting bezel from this period would need such big stepping on the edges(like the blue one). Also the cases look really similar to cal. 72 Heuers.
Don't get me wrong as both watches are presented in astounding condition and are very beautiful in their own right but I would like some opinions?
The seller is quite reputable and offers watches in excellent order and this question is not a slant on their origins or his or her reputation.
Regards
Alistair
