Collecting vintage watches and looking especially for Heuer/racing/movie history, I guess Steve McQueen plays an important role for at least some of us here at OTD.
I was happy to find a collection of vintage photos of Steve McQueen, most of them taken during the making of the famous racing movie "Le Mans" in 1970.
Just spoke with Jeff who liked the idea to share them here with other Heuer / Steve McQueen aficionados. So I will post the best of them from time to time over the next weeks.
At there start there are three pictures which were taken before during the 1960´s. They are showing the different sides which made Steve McQueen so famous. The (motorcycle) racing driver, the actor/director and Mr. Cool, the style icon (at GP in Monte Carlo).
