I Sensed the Switch to Bathroom Counter
In Response To: i don't know about that....... ()

I suspected that there might be a new bathroom counter involved!!

We have one great bathroom in our house that has afternoon sun (daylight); strong overhead incandescents; and flourescents above the mirror . . . but the problem is that this particular bathroom gets too much traffic, so I never use it for the Heuers. Also, it's rare for me to be taking Heuer photos during the afternoon.

Thanks for the technical summary.

: seems to me that you stepped up the level quite
: a bit in the last few months or so. you have
: been cranking out some really great photos,
: imho. i'm just trying to keep up with you,
: and everyone else. thanks for the
: compliments.

: yep new lighting, and new location, same
: camera. i'm using a cheap tracing box that
: has a thick diffuser and placing it to the
: left side of the watches. then i also
: switched to my second bedroom's bathroom
: counter believe it or not. for two
: reasons..it has two kinds of lighting and in
: different locations so i can easily alter
: the amount of lighting without much effort.
: the other reason is no one ever uses that
: bathroom so i don't have to setup and
: takedown, except when the maid comes every
: two weeks, but that's another story.
