Remember the early Autavia, that was sold by Watches of Knightsbridge, back in July, for $57,800 (including buyer's premium), which we discussed here -- http://chronocentric.com/forums/heuer/index.cgi?md=read;id=83227
Interesting to see it on Instagram yesterday, posted by Watch_Xchange -- https://www.instagram.com/watch_xchange/
Here was the Instagram caption -- "Great to see our recent first-execution Heuer Autavia 2446 featured in Simon de Burton's article "The Heuer Market Hits The Fast Lane" for @telegraphluxury."
So it appears that Watch_Xchange was the buyer at the WOK auction, and they then flipped it to a collector.
Does anyone here have the full serial number? Rich, maybe? Also, can we find a link to the Telegraph posting?
