I have a 324xxx Heuer signed Mareographe and remember seeing at least one other in the 324 range. My other lug is signed 2446SF.
Hope that helps

: Do we have any explanation (or precedent) for an Orvis
: Solunagraph, in a Reference 2446 SF case, with the 324142 serial
: number? Or maybe a Seafarer or Mareographe?
: It's listed on eBay, here -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/132009174953
: In my list of serial numbers, the highest number that I have for a
: Reference 2446C case is around 197xxx.
: 324xxx would be approaching the early Monzas, so let's call that
: 1976 or 1977.
: Could Orvis have ordered a few more of these Solunagraphs, several
: years after the normal run was completed? Any other explanation?
