Monza corrosion

I have been offered an Heuer Monza ref 150.511 chromed (non black) watch (in old stock condition) completely new for EUR 1.700

Is the price high?

Also regarding the corrosion problem, does it affect to all Heuer Monzas? Is it really so bad?. I love the watch but by finding this problem in this great forum I am now confused.
