$100,000 hammer price, plus 25% buyer's premium = $125,000.
The bidding was a protracted battle, between "Rebecca", who was representing a bidder on the telephone, and a "gentleman in the room", who stopped at $97,000. My scribbles below reflect this battle. At the end of the bidding, there was a nice round of applause in the room.
People have been watching the progression of these early Autavias . . . from around $8,000 at the Haslinger auction (December 2010), and now a straight line above $100,000.

: Christie's will be opening its December 6 sale, in New York
: City, with 11 vintage Heuers . . . Lots 1 through 11.
: Definitely some "top tier" watches to keep an eye on,
: including: an Autavia 2446 "Big Sub" chronograph,
: the most favored version of the Seafarer (Reference 2447 case),
: an "Orange Boy" Autavia, an 18 karat gold Carrera
: (Ref 1158), a nice looking "Rindt" Autavia and an
: Autavia with a "test dial". After the chaos in the
: Spring 2016 auctions , and the strong results in the November
: auctions, it will be interesting to see whether this auction
: will bring the year 2016 to a strong finish.
: All 11 watches are shown below; here is the Online Catalog .
