Fascinating. For me, the most outrageous buy here is the OB, or am I missing something? Obviously its a good looking piece, and comes with all the bits - but still, 50K?? Does anyone have a view on the subdial hands, shouldn't they be burnt red/orange rather then black?
From memory, one of these went for well below 10k at the Heuer 100 event, and even despite the issues with that auction, that now looks a steal.
I sort of get it, the OB has for me always been the most desirable of the 70s Autavias - I'm just glad I've already got one!
