I have spoken to Clive Chapman, Colin's son, and I'm afraid he cannot throw any light on the subject as to the watch or model. Suffice it to say that latterly Colin Chapman wore a gold Rolex day/date which is well documented. Heuer watches were very popular with Team Lotus members and a few had them in the mid 60's before sponsorship.
