So back in August 2006, I purchased the Autavia Reference 1163 GMT, Mark 3, shown on the right. 17 months later, in a January 2008 "Clearance Sale", I made the mistake of selling the watch . . . I don't know why I sold it, but I do know that I have missed it, ever since.
Now, nine years later, the very same watch is back in my collection, after it was listed for sale on ChronoTrader. When I asked the seller a couple of questions about the watch, he responded, "Well, you should know the watch. I bought it from you several years ago." B-I-N-G-O . . . I knew that this one was coming back home. It's a nice sample -- warm colors on the lume and bezel, compared with many that we see in whiter / lighter tones.
So the family of Autavia Reference 1163 GMTs is back together . . . Mark 1, Mark 2 and Mark 3 (left to right in both the photos) . . . in flight formation.
Isn't this an awesome hobby!!
