The Early A/F Seafarer

I just came across an interesting tidbit in an article by about co-branded Rolexes. According to the author, James Dowling, Abercrombie & Fitch began retailing Rolexes in the U.S. in 1926. They Oyster cases and Fontmelon movements were signed “Oyster Watch Company” but the dials were signed “Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer".
