What I would do? What I suggest...
Send a nice mail to Giuliano from Bella Italia ( thealarm69 at yahoo dot com ) and ask if he's got leather like that.
If he does.....you'll get a wonderful result. For less money, by the way, and even customized, like longer / shorter if you need.
And ... no, he is not my cousin or such .... just a good fellow and does good work. :-)

Should he not have this kind of leather .... there are some more great members here, like James and Stewart from the U.K., that make lovely and smooth leather straps too - so why buy too expensive if you can support fellow members here which do excellent handcraft work, is what I'm saying ;-)
