Yeah but you gotta love the 196 series Jeff, haven't you?!
He writes: "The tropical subdials on this watch make it
: super special and really tell a story of the life this watch has
: lived. It has been owned from new by one owner from the U.K. He
: wore this most days when he got it new and as an outdoors kind
: of person, the sun has aged the subdials fantastically well and
: they now boast their own colouration - No money can buy that!
: Created simply by mother nature. I think that is why i
: love tropical dials so much. They essentially grow and develop
: their own character and style."
: So that's why it's priced at five times the prevailing market
: price?
: Or perhaps because it's the very rare crossover model? You know,
: when Heuer switched from the 195 series to the 196 series!!
