I fell for the patina and, despite knowing very little about these, bid considerably higher than the auction house estimate of 25k SEK but was still outbid by some margin.

I had not appreciated that they were so sought after.

The watch was obviously unmolested and authentic but I don't think it was even working, so would have needed a service at the very least.
