I visited the London viewing today a week ahead of the Fellows auction in Birmingham. The Autavia doesn't appear to function at all when wound, looks right, dial is not damaged, but the plex looks like it was used in practice by Torvill and Dean!
That Meister Carrera is stunning. The cracked plex, "petri dish strap" and missing hand lume aside, the dial is great and it functions well.
Carrera Dato is OK but the tropical Daytona is in truly awful condition.
Estimates on the Autavia and Carrera's seem designed to delight the seller as even with 24% buyers commission on the high end of the range cited they look attractive, albeit with work to do. Generally Fellows seem to consign watches in need of work which can create bargains but I'll be amazed if these Heuers fall into that category....
