Greetings,
Not a frequent poster here and not used to posting live auctions anywhere, but this one is screaming for a public warning.
1940s Heuer falsely claimed to be military, and redialed to boot.
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Vintage-1940-039-s-Heuer-Triple-Date-Calendar-Military-Chronograph-Valjoux-72C-RUNS-/272644542991?
When asked what governement would have issued it to which branch of its military, the seller replies:
"This is classical WW2 military watch , It's been in use by most armies in Europe
Especially by German forces etc..
I bought this piece from WW2 veteran's widow"
Bwahahahaha.
Not to mention the bridge is marked "Heuer Leonidas".
Regards,
S
