I would suggest leaving the sub-dials alone...or at the very least leave it to a competent watchmaker. Some watchmakers have a secret sauce that cleans the dial...but you risk damaging it and/or removing the paint. IMO its not worth the risk as the aged sub-dials add to the overall patina of the watch. Looks great as-is.
