I was staggered to see this case with bezel, insert and pushers (but no crown or crystal) and dial sell for £5,800 plus 20% commission at a local auction in the UK yesterday.
I think I am right in saying it is a first execution transitional case and third dial.
For the avoidance of doubt, there were no hands, movement, bracelet, box or papers.
Would anyone be able to explain why the parts were so valuable?
