Look for a wtb advert for the movement and hands ;)
On a serious note, a complete transitional 2446 watch, even in this condition, would be worth circa £15k-20k so that leaves someone a heathy profit margin should the watch be completed.
I was staggered to see this case with bezel, insert and pushers
: (but no crown or crystal) and dial sell for £5,800 plus 20%
: commission at a local auction in the UK yesterday.
: I think I am right in saying it is a first execution transitional
: case and third dial.
: For the avoidance of doubt, there were no hands, movement,
: bracelet, box or papers.
: Would anyone be able to explain why the parts were so valuable?
