Many thanks. Another picture. Me, black tie dinner. How is this not a fabulous dress watch? Apart from anything else, obviously.
I just love the watch and the story behind it. My father in law bought it because back in the days the drivers wore those Heuers. Daytona? Nope. Heuer Carrera, thank you. Six or seven years ago, when he noticed my passion for proper watches he told me, oh, yes, I bought this watch a long time ago, it's been sitting in the drawer for decades, do you want to take a look? Erm, yes please!
I am quite anxious to wear it, I have to say, knowing how much it is worth now. Which is a shame, really. But there you go.
